Dixon, CA, otherwise known as Lambtown, USA, held its popular sheepdog trials over the weekend in which border collies (mostly) and their handlers compete to move a group of sheep through a variety of fences and chutes in the fastest time. Members of RESDA (Redwood Empire Sheep Dog Association) put their dogs through the paces, and it didn’t take a lot of cajoling on the handler’s part to get these dogs motivated to do what they do best.
