Our mission today was to photograph the Queen and we could not have dreamed up a better setting or circumstances. The main gates closed behind us after we entered the compound and we were informed by the security detail that no one would be entering or leaving until after the Queen departed. It was quite an experience to stand half an arms-length from living history. There were more press people than well wishers and not a tourist in sight. Definitely a day to remember.
